More than design

Bond Bryan
2025

Strategy

Like many growing architecture practices, Bond Bryan had evolved considerably over several years without their brand, website, and value proposition keeping pace.

Our brand strategy process brought the practice together to redefine their purpose and direction of travel. We developed a renewed messaging framework to communicate this across every brand touchpoint.

The renewed messaging system proudly communicates their commercial understanding without apology. It repositions the practice as development facilitators—unlocking opportunity and making things happen—rather than architects simply waiting for a brief. It also articulates their core ethos that architecture is ‘more than design’, emphasising the importance of people, circular thinking, and legacy.

Design

Bond Bryan’s ‘More than design’ ethos is reflected in a new logo trailed with a colon—a simple typographic device signalling what lies beyond design in creating loved and lasting architecture. The logo pairs with animated messaging to express the practice’s spirit quickly across presentation slides and the website.

The colour palette is intentionally varied with light, vibrant, and dark tones of six core colours, providing flexibility in pairing brand colours with imagery.

We created photography style guides and photographer briefs to guide the practice towards more people-focused project imagery. This addresses a common challenge in architecture branding: the spaces are designed for people yet often presented as unoccupied and empty in project visual narratives.

Impact

“Our brand was built around a clear mission: to align our identity with who we are today and where we’re heading. This was never just about a new logo or website, but a comprehensive redefinition of our value proposition, voice, and presence across every touchpoint—bold, meaningful, and authentic.

This evolution has gone far beyond aesthetics. It has energised our business, strengthened performance across key metrics, and created a strong foundation for future growth. Bond Bryan is now better positioned, better understood, and more purposefully connected—both internally and externally.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Rabbithole, whose vision and creativity have been outstanding. Such a joy to work with!”
